Exhibition At 'The Bin'

Had the opening of our Nighthawks exhibition at The Bin in Cape Town on Sunday afternoon. It was really good, lot of people showed up, R5 beer and Rudi was there. Blaise and Pierre from The Bin are the best blokes and I want to say thanks for an awesome weekend. The show is running till the 28th so if you didn't make it on Sunday go round to The Bin and have a look. And buy lots of things from the store. Later

Rolling In Cape Town

Got back from a week trip to Cape Town with Liam Lynch and Zander Blom on Sunday afternoon. We went to sort out things for our exhibition this month and to shoot some more work for the show. It's called 'Cold Caffeine in a Nicotine Cloud' and the opening is on the 15th at the Bin in Cape Town. Rudi and Matt were the guys nice enough to let the three of us stay at their place for the time we were there. Really good geezers. The Blk Jks were also down there on tour and recording some more songs so I spent a lot of time with them cruising the streets etc. Here is some of the work I’ve finished so far.

Tumi On A Stick

Shot Tumi’s new album cover which I think is being released in a week or two. And it's a solo album and not a Tumi And The Volume album. Going to be amazing.

New Flat

Moved into a new flat in Linden a week or two ago. Took some shots of the first night.

Lark Album Launch

Shot another 'Nighthawks Project' on Friday at Lark's album launch at Carfax. I only started shooting at 2 or 3 in the morning so...

Fokofpolisiekar

Liam and I were asked to do some portraits of Fokofpolisiekar for publicity for their new album. The black and white pics were shot in Pretoria while Liam was doing his portraits and the colour was in Boksburg. Boksburg, lovely.
