They have some awesome photographers on their books and I'm stoked to be part of it as well. You can see the site here.

I was also lucky enough to scrub into a surgery at the Pretoria West Hospital last week Thursday. It is for a story for Men's Health Magazine about local heroes, I can't upload any of the images yet but I took a self portrait for memories sake.


FashionWeek was held last week at the Sandton Convention Centre. I shot a few of the designer's shows backstage, including Gideon, Black Coffee, Lisa Jaffe and Tiaan Nagel. I'm going to post the images in a seperate post so hang in there.

Xenophobia On Our Streets

My girlfriend and I decided this morning that we were going to Primrose Police Station in Edenvale, Johannesburg to donate food to the people affected by the xenophobic attacks, a trip to the store and 60kgs of mielie meel later and we were there. I was shocked at the amount of people that were there, I was thinking a few hundred but there were over 3000 at the last count. Most of the people there were from Mozambique. There is a Methodist church across the street from the Police Station so that became the base for food and safety. The women and children were kept on the church property and the men were in the veld between the church and the Police Station. We are going back this weekend so if there is anyone who would like to donate money for more food just leave a comment and we can make a plan. A 10kg bag of mielie meel costs R38.

New Portfolio Blog

I have started a new blog, one that is more like a website with my portfolio broken down into categories. I'm still working on it, trying to decide on which images to add and which to leave out. It is up and running so if you want to have a look, click here. It also has a 'photo of the day' section on the opening page so, hopefully, I'm going to be able to upload a new pic everyday.
