Finally got the go ahead to upload the Converse campaign I shot last year November.Here is a selection of my favourites from the shoot.

Aren't You Too Old To Be Skating?

I went shooting/ skating with Brendan Body on Saturday, he needed shots for his over 30's article for the next issue of Session. I shot pics of him and of Ockie tearing away in their ripe old age, until Brendan dropped of a bank and bruised his heel. Shot some other random pics along the way.
And here is the first skating shot of myself. I set it up and Brendan Body shot the photo for me, what a lovely little nose-pick.

Digging Up Old Dirt

So it's that time of the year again that I go digging around old work for this here blog. These are a few portraits I still love. The guy on the zebra is Paulo from 340ml/ Tumi and the Volume, it was taken at a shoot ST[E]AK and I were doing for Stage Magazine back in 2005. It is one of those shots in between the 'serious' shooting. The other is from my first commissioned shoot in 2002, believe it or not, for Session Skateboarding Magazine. It was shot in Pretoria at a skate demo with the Osiris team from the States. The guy at the top right of the series is Chris Pastras, for those of you who don't really follow skateboarding, he is the guy that started Stereo Skateboards with Jason Lee back in the 90's. Then we have Ali Boulala, some guy and Jerry Hsu.

Emerica Day at The Green Ramp

Emerica/Ockie decided to paint the Green Ramp in Parkhurst green again , so after he had done that, he threw a little party on Saturday for everyone. I shot some photos of people there and absolutely no skating. What an idiot.

A Pool and A Few Bums

I have always wanted to shoot people skating a real pool and I got to do that this weekend. Adrian Day, from Famalia, found a pool near his house and did a good job a cementing the shallow end to make it a bit more skateable. He even threw a bit of a party with the homeless guys living next to the pool by bringing beer along and handing it out. Sharing is caring.

Familia 'Bang Chong' Video Premiere

Familia launched their video, 'Bang Chong', on Saturday night in Jozi. What a fucken awesome video, congratulations to Adrian and Gavin and the whole team for bringing out something so amazing. Here are some pics of people getting loose.

Tiffendell

Got to work on some more of the Tiffendell pics. Oh, the previous entry is called ‘Bruised Ribs’ because I feel snowboarding and, yes, bruised my ribs. Sneezing isn’t fun anymore, it hurts like hell.
