ST[E]AK has had a pacemaker in his little chest since he was 19 and now the battery has finaly kicked the bucket. So the govt. was nice enough to hook him up with a new one, we went to Joburg Gen the day before the operation to make final arrangements and I took my camera along. Stef is fine by the way, we actually went for lunch and a pint right after the op, amazing.

Recording moments like these are valuable - good to see that such light-heartedness can be made out of potentially dangerous times and of course most importantly that Stef is alive n able to raise his leg up high in swift movements (def: kicking) too... Compliments on your work - you seem to be abe to catch a mood and still it AS IT IS in the present, yet at the same time you're capturing history...
