Non-cohesive Fashion Week

These are from Fashion Week that happened about two weeks ago. They don't really work together, but rather than them just staying on my machine I've uploaded some of them. The designers are Lisa Jaffe, Black Coffee and Tiaan Nagel.

The Street

A friend of mine, Adam, has opened up a clothing store in Greenside called 'The Street'. He stocks some awesome gear so go have a look, he is right next to Deerhunter. These are from the opening night.

Not A Story on 'Story'

So this was going to be a story about the designer Sanche Frolich and her label, 'Story'. I planned to do it in a similar way to the shoot I did with Gideon in Durban last year, which you can see here. It didn't turn out the way though, there was just too little time, too little space and it was way too dark backstage. So the images aren't really a series about 'Story' as much as they are just pics from fashion Week. Maybe next time I can get the story on 'Story'.

Fashion Week

Went to some shows last night at Sanlam Fashion Week, shooting backstage tonight so look out for new pics soon. For now here is a shot was from Clive Rundle's show.

A Round Up

1. So here is a load of stuff I have shot recently and not so recently.
2. I have still got some new work I would like to upload but have to wait for them to be published etc.
3. I have a some work at the Hello World Exhibition opening tomorrow night, it's a group show with a lot of talented folks involved.
4. I'm not feeling the cold weather creeping in over Joburg
5. I had really cool business cards designed by Infiltrate Media, so if you see me, ask for one.

Premature Holiday Mode

Just checked my blog and realized how slack I have been with posting. Probably has something to do with the fact that I'm getting into holiday mode way too soon and just feel like fly fishing and sinking a few cold ones. I've also done a few shoots that I can't release yet but for your viewing pleasure here are a few of those shots. The first shot is from the Cosmo/ Face of Africa shoot which we shot in Zanzibar, the second is a fashion editorial for Dossier which we shot in Durban, and the third is from a shoot with the Blk Jks for Dossier.
