No New Work

I haven't shot anything substantial this week, sad. So this is stuff I've have shot over the last two years or so. Images have a tendancy to pile up, collect dust etc. (Is that possible for a digital image?) and so I've decided it's better to just get them out so people can see them and also it gives me an excuse to update my blog. Shoots are coming up so I will have some new work sooner than later. I'm shooting Oppikoppi again now but this time I will have a studio and lighting etc. Good times.

Running With Scissors

Shot these pics at Caroline's (the girl in the red) house last week for Stage Magazine. The dog is Isaac and is the business. It will be out in the next issue of Stage which is the girl issue. Going to be a good issue, it will be on the shelves around August.

This Is Not The Fashion Article For Stage

These are the layouts for the next Stage fashion editorial. We planned to do a shoot with guys in dresses for the girl issue but a deadline jumped out of nowhere and forced us to make an alternate plan. We had two days to organise a fashion shoot and lay it out so we went to 'Back 2 Basix' on Saturday night while Diesel Whores and Rokkeloos were doing a gig and shot these pics. We shot around 1 in the morning when everyone was obviously not sober anymore and it ended up being a seriously bizarre evening, as you can see in the pics. My favourite one is Jaxon pulling some poor lads pants off. Classic.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

This has nothing to do with my photography but I love the video, found it on the net this morning. Go have a look.

Army Man

I shot this while I was still in my second year at the Vaal Technikon. Yes, Vaal Technikon. I come from that neck of the woods, but don't spread the word.

Sad Fashion Shoot?

These are two pics from the SL editorial I shot a few weeks ago. It also got second place on the 'Society of Photographers' website last month. Josie Borain called it a sad fashion shoot, not to sure what she meant by that, but people are entitled to their opinions.

An Original 'Liam Lynch'

I have a few photos I would love to put up on my blog but can not until the work gets published by the mag I shot it for. I think I might be able to have them up next month. So for now here is a portrait Liam Lynch shot of me while I was shooting a portrait of him for my first 'Sport and Street' article. This is one of the few pics I have of myself, I try stay clear of the front of the camera. I like the way way I'm obscured by my light meter, and the geezer hanging out in the background.
